Tricycles 4, Hellas 3
OAK PARK TRICYCLES put some distance between themselves and last-place HELLAS with a 4-3 squeaker. The three-wheelers ruled the first half, and goals from Michael Voss and Philip Thomsen had them in front 2-0. Hellas halved the margin early in the second through Mario Mamolis, but successive strikes from Brian Huck and Tom Hafner gave OPT a seemingly comfortable 4-1 edge heading down the stretch. Terry Cirbo found the net for Hellas two minutes from time to make it 4-2 and Petros Poulos quickly followed suit to make it 4-3, but the equalizer was nowhere to be found. The win pushes OPT five points clear of Hellas and the Red cellar.
