1/20 Game Recap

Tricycles 2, CD Taximaroa 4

Opening Week 9, C.D. TAXIMAROA remained second in the Red by doubling the OAK PARK TRICYCLES 4-2. The teams split a quartet of first-half tallies, with Francisco Laureano and Joacquin Mondragon doing the damage for CDT but Tom Hafner and Jarek Jastrzebski equal to it for OPT. On the stroke of halftime CDT were awarded a dubious penalty kick, which keeper Ridas Giedraitis stopped twice, and CDT failed to capitalize on the ensuing five-minute power-play to start the second half. However, the OPT defense tired and Taximaroa eventually broke through in the final minutes as both Laureano and Mondragon netted their seconds of the night to claim all three points.

Tricycles Scoring:
1. Hafner (Voss)
2. Jastrzebski (unassisted)
