Warta drew first blood midway through the opening frame on Traian Maier's penalty kick, and they doubled their lead late in the second when Lukasz Zukowski netted on the power play. The three-wheelers halved the margin a minute from time when Michael Gentile found the net, but the equalizer was nowhere to be found.
