F.C. ROMANIA strengthened their grip on third in the Red by topping Tricycles 5-2. The teams split a pair of first-half tallies, with Flavius Ardelean opening the scoring for Romania but Vinnie "Fenceman" Kalke equalizing for OPT on the power play. Romania took over in the second frame, with Ardelean netting two more and Ovidiu Paraschiu and Cris Baciu notching one apiece while only newcomer D.J. Holmgren could stem the tide for the three-wheelers. The Trikes are up against it again this week when they face Red co-leaders Adria, while Romania face the other co-leaders, Outlanders.
